Many years ago I was living in Townsville in Queensland, Australia.

I used to get massages from a sports masseuse named Jim. I was into kick boxing and water aerobics and walking/jogging so I was pretty fit and really needed those massages for tight muscles.

I was living with a lovely Irish friend, Sean, at the time and he said to me to tell him whenever I had a psychic vision or insight.

So one day I said to him, ‘Tomorrow, watch for the White Eagle’.

And oh how we laughed! We laughed and laughed and laughed because it was so hippy dippy, so ultra spiritual, it was so funny to our young, wonderful selves!

We were in our mid-twenties and living the life. We lived at the beach, we played a lot of music and wrote songs together. We loved going to the beach, playing football games on the green near our apartment and roller skating on the concreted paths along the shoreline.

Life was good and fancy free.

I had booked in for a massage with Jim that next day. Sean waited in the reception room while I had my massage. When I came out, we were about to leave when Jim stopped us. He said he had a gift for me and he though I would get some use out of these cards.

As he handed them to me, these ‘White Eagle Affirmation Cards’, I felt an inner thrill, an electrical charge flow through me. I was so grateful and so excited because I knew that the name of the cards meant I’d seen something of them the day before they were given to me.

I showed Sean the name of the cards and the white eagle on them and he just stared at me in amazement. We were both smiling at eachother like fools and we started laughing. We then let Jim in on the joke that we were obviously sharing between us.

It was an incredible moment.

I was only 26 at the time. This was all new and interesting and amazing to us. It was like magic. Things like this were occurring a lot and I was tapping into my psyche in a powerful way.

If I relaxed and yet concentrated also, on removing my consciousness from my small body outwards – either outwards across space or outwards across both space and time simultaneously – I was able to see all manner of things, from what weather was coming, to what thoughts my friend was having, to what else might be coming our way, such as the white eagle.

I suggest you try it – try visualising what’s coming.

Just close your eyes one night before bed. Relax and let any images come to mind. Anything could come.

Recently one night in bed I did this and saw a fire truck with its lights and siren blaring. I live in the countryside and this is not a common thing to see, in fact in ten years I don’t recall ever seeing one up here in the hills.

The next day, I made an unexpected trip to Mullumbimby town with my daughter. We were sitting in a cafe when suddenly a fire truck, with its lights and sirens going off, sped past us.

I showed her a note that I had quickly made in my phone the night before, half asleep I was, when I wrote fire station. I wanted to write engine, but I couldn’t think of the word at the time as I was so tired and just wanted to make this quick note, to show whoever I was with, that I had seen it before it happened.

This is something available to us that we can do at any time.

We can reflect on what might be coming. It’s a bit of a party trick I suppose, but could become important if it was to do with say a car accident or something else significant like that.

It is also called pre-cognition or clairvoyance, i.e. the ability to see things before they happen.

I wonder how many of us have had these occurrences happen in our lives? I would love to know. I think it would be many more people, and much more often, than we realise.

I mean no one’s keeping statistics on psychic phenomenon unfortunately. Perhaps one day we’ll see fit to do this. Keeping track of our psychic experiences could only benefit our learning and growth, as well as the development of our psychic sense.

I look forward to one day hearing your stories and continuing to share my own.

Blessings,

Amanda.
